Persephone is a diptych, created for the “Ash Two: The Metamorphosis” collection, a project conceived and curated by Pak. The Metamorphosis give collectors the power to create through destruction. 30 artists (29 + Pak) took part in the project. Each artist produced two related pieces - an original, and a “morphed” version. Editions were capped at 250/artist. Only the original pieces could be purchased, while the morphed versions were created through destroying five originals. It is an ever-evolving game of balance to determine the final edition size and equilibrium for each piece of the collection.
